Easy Steps in Renting a Car

Renting a car shouldn't be a tedious process.  Provided that you have the requirements, you can easily rent-a-car as 1-2-3.  

First, inquire at the car rental office of your choice.  Ask the type of vehicle, the rates and the terms of rental.  Choose the car rental that has flexible terms and services and easy to deal with.  Inquiry can be done thru call, SMS, email or online booking at the company website.  Ask for the availability of the unit you wanted to rent, the special services like delivery and pull-out and usage terms.

Second, book and submit your requirements.  These are the list you may need to prepare for Self-driven rentals:

1. Valid Passport
2. Latest proof of billing (original copy) in the name of the renter, such as Meralco, PLDT, Credit card bills.
3. Lease of contract if the Renter is leasing.
4. Drivers License (local/international)
5. Valid ID with photo such as SSS, GSIS,PRC company ID
6. RESIDENT ALIEN – Alien certification Registration Card to be withheld
7. COMPANY RENTAL – Certificate from the company requesting rental, signed by the highest official of the company
8. For rentals with driver-- just present a valid ID

Third, pay for the Reservation fee.  It can be done through online payments or bank deposit.  This will be your guarantee that your booked schedule is being acknowledged and you will be assured that the vehicle is being reserved for you.

Read the Terms and Conditions and Rental Agreement thoroughly.  Ask questions if necessary.  Pay the full amount upon turn-over of the vehicle.  Rent-a-car companies require  upfront refundable deposit for Insurance participation fee or a cash bond.

 9.  The ninth time, he wonders whether it amounts to anything.

A bookstore owner had the misfortune of being located between two enormous book-selling competitors.  One day, this bookstore owner came to work to see that the competitor on his right had unfurled a huge banner: "Monster Anniversary Sale!  Prices slashed 50%!"  The banner was larger than his entire storefront.  Worse yet, the competitor to the left of his store had unveiled an even larger banner:  "Gigantic Clearance Sale!  Prices reduced by 60%!"  Again, the banner dwarfed his storefront.  What was the owner of the little bookstore in the middle to do?  He created his own banner and hung it out front, simply saying "Main Entrance."


The message is clear.  You need not spend too much in advertising.  There are some little, low cost ways to do marketing in your business.

The scorching heat of sun is here.  It doesn't matter how the climate is affecting us.  The temperature seems to get higher everyday.  Thus, a lot of us are dreaming and planning a weekend getaway with our family or friends.  We might consider going into a resort, an out-of-town beach, to a cool and breezy mountainous areas like Tagaytay or Baguio City or simply dive into inflatable pools.

Of course, you need to consider how you can arrange your schedule. Plan ahead of time what places could be of great interest to visit and unwind.  Think of the transportation means and how many days are you going to spend there.  Look out for cheap yet good accommodations and make a plan on what-to-do while taking the vacation.

We are well-aware of the current financial situation that every one of us is running through.  But it doesn't mean that we will cut ourselves to get enough relaxation and recharge ourselves.  Having great time with friends and co-workers will not only give you time to build rapport with each other but also building a good team thus resulting into a harmonious relationship and lasting friendship.
